American Medical Student Association at UC berkeley

Future Healthcare Professionals for Change

About Us

AMSA at UC Berkeley was founded over 30 years ago as a pre-medical chapter of students dedicated to learning about current medicine, giving back to the community and curating a community for students at Cal.

At AMSA, we see a better way forward. As future healthcare professionals, we see opportunities to reshape healthcare. Our vision is a world where health care is accessible, medicine is affordable, and systems support the diversity we see around us.

Inclusivity

Improving diversity within medicine and actively serving is essential to the future of healthcare.

Community

We seek to make a change in our surrounding community, especially for underserved populations.

Collaboration

Working with other organizations on campus and in the Bay for medical advocacy.

You

Above all, AMSA is about connecting you with the resources to pursue a healthcare career.
